Job summary

Agilus by Synergie in Aurora, Ontario, seeks a dynamic Print Project Manager to lead projects from concept to delivery, partnering with Sales and Production to meet timelines, budgets and quality. You will manage client communications and ensure smooth handoffs across departments.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in project management for custom manufacturing or print, with 1–2 years hands-on print experience, strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of project management or coordination experience in custom manufacturing, print and/or retail operation.
  • 1–2 years hands-on experience with print-related projects, processes, or operations.
  • Experience in both client-facing and production environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Experience in POP and Retail print (small and large formats) production project management is considered an asset.
  • PMP certification or working towards it is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Understand project briefs and timelines, ensuring objectives are clear while collaborating with Sales and Account Managers.
  • Monitor project costs against budget, investigate and resolve variances.
  • Partner daily with Production Managers to track status of work orders through all stages—pre-production, production, quality checks, shipping, and installation.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation and materials (e.g. finish samples) are prepared, approved, and distributed to relevant departments.
  • Maintain strong, professional client relationships by providing timely updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Own the project journey—from initial approval to final invoicing—ensuring seamless execution at every stage.

A day in the life:
  • Understanding project briefs and timelines, ensuring a clear understanding of objectives while collaborating closely with Sales and Account Managers.

You bring:
  • 2–4 years of project management or coordination experience in custom manufacturing, print and/or retail operation
  • Must have at least 1–2 years of hands-on experience with print-related projects, processes, or operations. Must have coordination experience with a physical product
  • Experience in both client-facing and production environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Experience in POP and Retail print (small and large formats) production project management is considered an asset
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • PMP certification or working towards it is considered an asset.
