Job summary

Big Viking Games in Canada is seeking a Principal Engineer, Agentic Products & Workflows to lead the design and build of the AI-first studio platform. You will own the agentic platform end to end, including orchestration, memory, evaluation, and human review surfaces, ensuring production-grade reliability.

You will mentor engineers, shape patterns for tool use and fault handling, and partner with creative and live-ops teams to ship scalable AI-enabled game production workflows.

Qualifications

• Production software at scale experience.
• Strong full‑stack engineering depth with modern JS frameworks.
• Experience building agentic systems, autonomous workflows, or AI infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, test, and operate agentic systems for AI-enabled game production and internal tools.
• Define and defend orchestration patterns for various problems (sequential, parallel, swarm, human-in-the-loop).
• Build guardrails, validation layers, and recovery paths to keep outputs production-grade.
• Mentor engineers, set patterns, and raise the technical bar across the team.
• Collaborate with creative, product, design, and live ops to ship reliable AI-enabled content workflows.
