IFS Aerospace & Defense seeks a Principal AI Engineer to lead AI-driven mobility solutions for aviation maintenance. You will own end-to-end delivery, from design to deployment, across cloud, edge and mobile environments.

In this senior role, you will mentor teams, drive architectural strategy, and ship production AI capabilities while collaborating with customers to ensure real-world value and reliability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building AI-enabled products with AI-assisted tooling.
• Mobile app development expertise, with strong emphasis on production readiness.
• Forward-deployed projects delivering enterprise software in customer environments.
• End-to-end delivery across design, development, testing and operations.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive AI-enabled mobility features for aviation maintenance.
• Integrate AI models, prompt engineering and MLOps into product workflows.
• Lead architecture decisions across product groups and teams.
• Collaborate with customers to anchor solutions in real-world contexts.
• Maintain high quality through automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and uplift AI and forward-deployment practices.
