This Position reports to:
Price ManagerThe Pricing Administrator supports pricing activities to enhance decision-making and profitability. They collaborate with sales, marketing, and distribution to drive growth through data analysis and process improvements. Reporting to the Pricing Manager, they also assist the Senior Pricing Authorizer with strategic pricing and quote decisions.
Responsibilities:
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with Sales, Marketing, and Distribution to drive profitable growth through strategic pricing and data-driven decisions.
Pricing Strategy & Optimization: Supports pricing activities including special price agreements, price band strategies, and quote evaluations to maximize volume, margin, and profitability.
Process Improvement: Leads standardization of pricing processes across regions and product lines, and implements pricing policies and procedures.
Analytical Support: Identifies business issues affecting finance, production, costing, and logistics, and uses data analytics to support decision-making.
Approval & Opportunity Management: Manages price approvals and evaluates new and existing market opportunities for presentation to leadership.
Stakeholder Engagement: Maintains relationships across multiple regions, participates in dispute resolution, and supports the Senior Pricing Authorizer and Pricing Manager
Qualifications:
Diploma in a relevant field with at least 5 years of experience in a commercial or analytics role.
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; able to communicate pricing and business concepts clearly.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team.
Advanced analytical skills with expert-level proficiency in Excel (including formulas and macros).
Excellent time management with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
