Job summary

Pursuit Collection Jasper is hiring a Pursuit Preventative Maintenance Associate to support preventative maintenance across seven properties in Jasper, AB. The role offers two shifts (7am–3pm and 3pm–11pm) and a competitive hourly wage of $24–$26.

You will work with a friendly team to uphold quality standards across facilities, guest rooms, pools, and venues. Ideal candidates have a Grade 12 Diploma with trade education, strong problem solving, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Diploma with trade education or equivalent is an asset
• Creative thinking and problem solving skills
• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
• Eager to learn and grow as part of a dynamic team
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience or knowledge in related maintenance areas is an asset (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, pool treatment, painting)
• Basic knowledge of tools and their uses (tools provided)
• Ability to manage large workloads and multitask
• Able to work flexible shifts: day 7am–3pm and night 3pm–11pm
• Valid driver’s license; Class 4 Alberta license is an asset
• Starting wage for this role is $24.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Contribute to ongoing maintenance of 7 hotel properties while upholding high quality standards
• Daily upkeep of facilities including pools, restaurants, guest rooms and meeting spaces
• Interact frequently with coworkers, management and guests
• Perform basic repairs and assist with major repairs under supervision
• Handle yard work such as snow removal, gardening and lawn care
• Promote safe work practices and assist other departments as needed
• Report to Maintenance Manager and complete assigned projects and tasks
