Job summary

Pursuit Collection Jasper, AB is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead all hotel maintenance operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and well‑maintained facilities. You’ll coordinate daily activities with the Hotel Manager, supervise Maintenance Workers, and manage weekend and holiday coverage.

This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of building systems, and the ability to train staff, plan renovations, oversee preventative programs, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in maintenance or hotel engineering with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of building systems.
• Ability to train, supervise, and manage staff and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all maintenance operations for the hotel property, ensuring safe, efficient, and well-maintained facilities.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities with the Hotel Manager and other department leaders to minimize guest impact.
• Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to Maintenance Workers with high standards of workmanship.
• Assume full responsibility for Maintenance Workers on assigned shifts, including performance oversight and task completion.
• Participate in on-call rotation, responding to after-hours maintenance emergencies as required.
• Assist with maintenance, inspection, and upkeep of company vehicles and housingUnits.
• Oversee major repairs to guest rooms and building systems; plan renovations and capital projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and compliance records.
