Job summary

Estée Lauder Companies in Ottawa, Canada, seeks an Assistant Store Manager to join our prestige beauty team. You will support the Store Manager to coach and develop Sales Associates, drive sales, deliver outstanding service, and manage store operations with energy and integrity.

The ideal candidate has proven retail leadership in cosmetics, strong coaching skills, experience with inventory control and POS software, and availability for varied hours including weekends and events.

Qualifications

• Proven retail experience preferably within cosmetics.
• Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
• Supervisory experience with coaching/mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets.
• Retail operations experience including inventory management and cash reconciliation.
• Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced work environment.
• Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Applicants must be able to provide proof of right to live and work in the country if invited to attend for interview.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager to lead, coach and develop Sales Associates to achieve sales, customer service and operational targets.
• Drive store performance and ensure a high standard of visual merchandising and store cleanliness.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Manage inventory control and cash reconciliation processes.
• Collaborate with head office on promotions and product launches.
