Job summary

Geosam Capital is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Operator to read plans, adjust machines, and inspect parts. The role involves loading metal sheets, bending, quality checks, and maintaining the machine in a manufacturing setting in Terrebonne, Canada.

The ideal candidate holds a DEP in sheet metal work or equivalent, is organized, meticulous, and capable of working in a team. Both day and night shifts are available with appropriate premiums and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans, program and adjust the machine for each piece.
• Precisely inspect metal pieces and make necessary adjustments.
• Start production after checks.
• Load metal sheets into the machine.
• Determine the sequence and method of bending.
• Select tools suited to the metal thickness and type of bending.
• Organize finished products on pallets for shipping.
• Regularly maintain and clean the machine.
• Keep a clean workspace.
• Participate in inventories and check the quality of received materials.
• Complete documents related to quality (ISO).
• Support colleagues in case of absence or during peak periods.

• Monday to thursday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Full insurance, Collective retirement plan

Night shift

• Monday to thursday, 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM
• Premium for evening shifts, Full insurance, Collective retirement plan
