Job summary

Apex Industries is currently recruiting a Machine Operator to join our Steel Door Manufacturing Group for the Evening shift. This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Production Supervisor.

The primary role is to set up and operate CNC press brakes as well as other responsibilities relating to the production schedule. We expect a High School Diploma or equivalent, CNC press brake experience, and the ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, technical school training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with CNC press brake is required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical information (blueprints, specs, drawings).
• Demonstrate ability to function in a team-based work environment.
• Ability to learn new technics quickly and apply it to the job.
• Self-motivated with the willingness to stick to tasks that may be repetitive in nature.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast past environment.
