Principal Accountabilities
  • Operate machines to ensure the highest quality of production is achieved.
  • Review daily manufacturing functions and job orders to ensure awareness of requirements.
  • Obtain necessary materials and tools required to achieve expected run rates.
  • Ensure the safe operation of equipment.
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Report immediately to supervisor/lead/manager any and all problems, which may affect safety, equipment, tooling, and/or quality.
  • Maintain full working knowledge of all processes.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Conduct oneself/herself in a professional manner in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Tenacity in overcoming obstacles while maintaining productive and positive working relationships.
  • Ability to execute in a rapidly changing fast paced environment that requires strong teamwork.
  • Understanding of all tools, gauges, equipment, and other instruments used to perform position.
  • Basic ability to understand blueprints, schematics, and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Skill in performing accurate arithmetic functions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; using decimals, percentages, fractions, and ratios.
Education and Experience (Preferred)
  • Two plus years of experience in a relevant manufacturing setting.
  • Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification.
