Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with customers to understand their business challenges and technical requirements. Provide tailored solutions and demonstrate Fortinet products' advantages. Serve as the primary technical expert during pre-sales.
• Post-Sales Support: Offer technical expertise during and after sales, assisting with deployment and integration. Coordinate with support and development teams to ensure positive customer experiences.
• Technical Presentations & Demos: Deliver product demos and presentations to diverse stakeholders, including regional channel partners.
• RFP Support: Review RFIs and RFPs, understand technical requirements, and coordinate responses with internal teams, ensuring solutions meet standards.
• Proof of Concept/Solution: Identify success criteria with customers, lead deployment/testing, and create technical documentation for integration and adoption.
• Continuous Learning & Market Intelligence: Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, create technical collateral, and maintain expert knowledge of Fortinet solutions.
• Account Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and prospects.
• Travel: Travel within the region and occasionally to other regions.

Minimum Requirements

• 7+ years’ experience in pre-sales support as a security expert or systems engineer
• 3+ years’ experience with the Government of Canada
• 3+ years’ experience responding to RFPs
• FCSS/NSE7 certifications or higher; additional certifications are a plus
• Strong understanding of industry standards, compliance frameworks, and government requirements
• Excellent communication, presentation, technical, and business skills
• Ability to design network and security solutions, reference architectures
• Deep knowledge of technologies like secure networking, SD-WAN, cloud security, IAM, network access control, web security, endpoint security, email security, security operations, cryptography, etc.
• Previous vendor or reseller experience is an asset
• Proficiency in French and English is an asset
• Must possess or be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering
