Job summary

Meridian Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a Welder to perform production welding, read drawings, and fabricate metal structures in a fast-paced shop. You will MIG and ARC weld to specified data sheets and CWB standards, train junior staff, and participate in continuous improvements within the cell.

The role requires reading blueprints, operating welding equipment, and maintaining safe, efficient work practices in all weather and indoor/outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1–2 years welder experience preferred.
• CWB tickets or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
• Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and flux-cored arc welding (FCAW).
• Operate brazing and soldering equipment.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in a lean production setting.
• Provide data to monitor project status and assist training.
