Qualifications

• High school graduation supplemented by journeyperson graduation as an operating line worker and one (1) year experience in line maintenance following certification or have completed the Hydro Group apprenticeship program.
• Thorough knowledge of all regulations and safety rules.
• Must possess an appropriate valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and construction on transmission and distribution lines and associated equipment using rubber gloves, cover-up, and hot stick and cold methods.
• Promotes safety and health program and environmentally responsible work practices.
