Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is looking for an experienced Business Intelligence professional to work in a hybrid model out of our downtown Toronto office. Your role will involve building best-in-class BI solutions and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver on a comprehensive product roadmap.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Power BI and proficiency in DAX and SQL. A reasonable salary range for this role is between $95,000 and $145,000.

Job description

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Build best in class BI; working closely with Product Owners, BAs, Scrum Masters, Project Management and Stakeholders to deliver on the product roadmap
• Ensure delivery of negotiated product/function while following client standards and methodologies. This includes ensuring proper documentation is created, including design specifications, developing programs, test strategies, peer reviews, change control, release preparation, artefacts for operational readiness and steady state support
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, data specifications and translate highly complex requirements into technical design and implementation

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI (Desktop & Service)
• Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience with data modeling and ETL processes
• Understanding of data visualization best practices
• Familiarity with Excel and data analysis techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
• Experience with Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL)
• Knowledge of other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Compensation

The company is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000-$145,000.
