Job summary

Maple Lodge Farms in Brampton, ON is seeking a Machine Operator (Eviscerating) for 1st shift to support our processing line. You will troubleshoot, service equipment, and ensure products meet company and customer requirements while maintaining HACCP standards.

The role requires machine operating experience, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with CFIA/GMP/HACCP. We offer health benefits, pension, weekly pay, onsite cafeteria, and career advancement in a family-owned Canadian company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating machinery in a food/meat processing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of CFIA, GMP and HACCP standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment when necessary; dismantles, cleans, and reassembles equipment as needed for processing.
• Works closely with Department and Maintenance Supervisor, providing feedback on equipment performance.
• Sets up equipment to ensure products meet company and customer requirements.
• Work with CFIA on HACCP Plan and address deficiencies on the line.
• Collects all material and ensures everything is accounted for per P&P (e.g., scissors and knives).
• Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition per GMPs.
• Accurately record relevant monitoring tasks in department records.
