The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for shifts, with emphasis on safety and teamwork. You will contribute to packaging, inspection for quality, and multi-line coverage as needed, while adhering to health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production/manufacturing general labour is preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and stand/walk for a shift.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, wrap, sort and package products into bags and boxes.
• Operate and stack boxes onto pallets; wrap them safely.
• Inspect packages to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Run production lines and perform set-ups/ changeovers as needed for various products.
• Assist machine operators, mixers, oven captains, and crew with duties as assigned.
• Monitor multiple production lines as a flex operator; cover positions during vacations/absences.
• Support sanitation crew to maintain equipment and area cleanliness.
• Follow Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Summary:

Our Kitchener facility is looking for new part-time team members to work in general production!

Location: 560 Victoria Street North. Kitchener, ON. N2H 5G2

Hourly Rate: $20.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• Pick,pack, wrap, sort, andpackage fresh productsinto bags and boxes
• Work in production/packaging area to make andstack boxes onto pallets and wrap them safely
• Inspect filled packages to ensure product is packaged according to specifications
• Work in production/packaging area to Wrap and stack bread trays onto pallets and Operate Production Machine as required
• Be responsible for equipment set-up and change overs and running production lines as needed for various food products
• Assist Machine operators/Mixers/oven captains and crew with other duties as assigned
• Work as flex operator to monitor the Production of different production lines
• Cover multiple positions depending on vacation and absenteeism need
• May assistsanitation crew in the cleanliness of production equipment and area
• Ensure all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed

Qualifications:

• Previous food production or manufacturing general labour experience is highly considered
• Must be comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively and continue walking and standing for a duration of a shift
• You have strong people skills—you’re approachable, a good listener, and empathetic
• You’re dedicated to the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues
