Wonderbrands in Mississauga, ON is seeking a Mixer to join our bakery team. The role requires setting up ingredient delivery, weighing ingredients, and operating the mixer with attention to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include SAP batch logging, record-keeping, and assisting with equipment setup and product trials. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within a long-established Canadian bakery group.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dough mixing qualities or previous experience as a mixer preferred.
• Attention to detail and good organization skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Able to push/pull weight up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Maintain productivity in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HACCP and GMPs considered an asset.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up bulk computer system for required delivery of ingredients as per formulation.
• Accurately scales hand-added ingredients as per formulation, including re-work.
• Sets Mixer for required mixing and refrigeration times.
• Assists Operator in setting up proper controls for Divider as per product specifications and SOPs.
• Responsible for set-up of overhead proofer and reciprocating conveyor as per product requirements and SOPs.
• Conducts and records temperature checks in accordance with SOPs.
• Records the completion of each mixed batch into SAP and batching sheet; ensures lot numbers match ingredients in SAP.
• Maintains flour dusters as required.
• Performs Changeovers to maximize production efficiencies.
• Assists R&D with Product Trials.
• Ensures equipment is cleaned per Kosher and Allergen standards; maintains clean, safe work area.
• Adheres to safety and GMPs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

PAY RATE: $23.00/hr

SHIFT: 5:00am - 5:00pm

Qualifications

• Comfortable lifting to 50 lbs. of weight on a consistent basis.
• Able to push and pull weight up to 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
• Maintain productivity in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HACCP and GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) considered an asset.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills preferred
