Job summary

Wonderbrands in Calgary, AB is seeking a Production Worker to join our bakery production team. The role involves picking, packing, and stacking bread products, ensuring quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Location is on-site at 203 58 Ave SE, Calgary. Wage starts at $18.50 per hour with night shift premium; overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Liquids and food-handling safety knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to follow multi-step instructions and work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, sort, and package fresh products into bags and boxes.
• Operate in production/packaging area and stack boxes onto pallets.
• Inspect packaged goods to ensure quality and compliance with specs.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain product quality and output.
• Assist machine operators and crew with duties as needed.
• Support sanitation and cleanliness of equipment and area.
• Adhere to Food Safety, GMP, and Health & Safety policies at all times.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Location: 203 58 Ave SE, Calgary, AB T2H 0N9

Wage: $18.50/hour, + night shift premium

Shift: available to work any shift (flexibility with working overtime, and on weekends, as necessary)

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, sort, and package fresh products into bags and boxes.
• Work in production/packaging area to make and stack boxes onto pallets.
• Inspect filled packages to ensure product is packaged according to specifications.
• Work closely with production team members to ensure product quality.
• Assist machine operators/mixers/oven captains and crew with other duties as assigned.
• May assist sanitation crew in the cleanliness of production equipment and area.
• Ensure all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed.
• The Team Member is required to comply with all Food Safety, Quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements always.
