Nova Era Bakery Supply Inc. in Toronto is seeking a dedicated baker to produce a wide range of Portuguese pastries, including pastéis de nata and bolo rei, and to prep doughs, icings, and batters according to recipes and orders.

You will bake dough, decorate cakes and pastries, monitor oven temperatures, manage inventory, and support a fast-paced wholesale bakery environment with strict quality standards. Candidates should have 1–2 years of experience with Portuguese pastries and be able to work

Competenze

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience baking Portuguese pastries.
• Skilled at monitoring oven times and temperatures to meet quality standards.
• Able to work early mornings, weekends and holidays.

Mansioni

• Prepare a wide variety of goods including cakes, cookies, pies and Portuguese specialties such as pastel de nata and bolo rei.
• Prepare doughs, icings and frostings per recipes or special orders.
• Bake mixed dough and batters and decorate cakes and pastries.
• Maintain/check inventory for baking supplies and place orders as instructed.
