Job summary

COBS Bread is seeking a Multi-Unit Sales Manager to oversee four bakery locations across the Calgary area. The role requires hands-on leadership, travel between sites, and a focus on high performance, customer service, and sales growth.

You will coach store teams, manage staffing and training, and ensure adherence to brand standards while driving profitability and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of franchise retail or multi-site retail management experience
• 3+ years of managerial experience in food service, hospitality, or franchise retail
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between four bakery locations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to influence and motivate store teams to drive continuous improvement
• Ability to multi-task across multiple locations and work autonomously

Responsibilities

• Ensure profitability and successful performance of all four bakeries
• Counsel and coach store management on staffing, hiring, and training to drive sales and customer satisfaction
• Visit each bakery regularly to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and merchandising standards
• Monitor cash flow and inventory across the portfolio and address variances
• Lead rollout of marketing, product, and systems initiatives across the portfolio
• Partner with franchise owner on portfolio level planning and growth goals
