Job summary

COBS Bread is seeking a Bakery Production Manager in Calgary to lead a small team, bake from scratch each morning, and ensure top-quality products for customers. You will train staff, manage production schedules, and uphold a clean, efficient bakery operation.

Ideal candidates bring supervisory bakery experience, strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to forecast production based on data. Previous COBS experience is a plus and a flexible, energetic start to the day is valued.

Qualifications

• Positive leader with willingness to learn all bakery operations.
• Previous supervisory experience in a bakery or food production.
• Excellent communicator, problem solver and critical thinker.
• Early riser able to work independently or with a small team.
• Ability to forecast and adjust production based on business data.
• Experience delivering exceptional customer service preferred.
• Previous COBS experience as a baker is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work as part of a small team to bake products from scratch early each morning, following carefully crafted recipes.
• Lead and work alongside your team to keep the bakery clean, and contribute to a great customer experience
• Train, develop, manage and lead production staff to ensuring the highest quality of product is produced at all times and in a timely manner
• Set and review production schedules to make sure product is out to meet our customers needs
