Job summary

AstraZeneca Canada Inc is seeking a reliable Facility Porter to support daily operations at a corporate facility in Mississauga. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace while assisting the Facilities team.

This hands-on role involves walkthroughs of common areas, light cleaning, restocking supplies, assisting with deliveries and meeting setups, and reporting safety concerns. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and physical fitness.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities, porter, hospitality, housekeeping, or similar hands-on role preferred.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Reliable, proactive, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular walkthroughs of common areas, meeting rooms, corridors, entrances, and high-traffic spaces.
• Perform light cleaning and respond to spills or immediate housekeeping needs.
• Monitor and replenish washroom, pantry, meeting room, and facility supplies.
• Support waste and recycling collection throughout the facility.
• Assist with internal deliveries and movement of supplies, boxes, equipment, and materials.
• Support meeting and event setups, including tables, chairs, supplies, and room resets.
• Maintain organized storage, supply, and back-of-house areas.
• Identify and report maintenance, safety, or housekeeping concerns to the Facilities team.
• Assist with shipping parcel pickup and drop-off.
• Assist onsite vendors and service teams when required.
• Respond to day-to-day facility requests and changing operational priorities.
• Follow all site safety, security, and workplace procedures.
