Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Corporate Server & Porter to support daily operations, including cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, dishwashing, and setting up meeting rooms for executive clients. You will help maintain room cleanliness and assist with event setups while upholding safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Smart Serve Certificate.
• Experience in food services, bartending and porter roles is an asset.
• Experience in corporate hospitality preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good command of English, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of meeting rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management.

The hourly wage rate for this position is $22 . Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. How you will make an impact:

You will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, dishwashing along with preparing meeting rooms and event set ups for our executive clients.

As a Corporate Server & Porter, you will:

About you:

• Previous food services, bartending and porter experience is an asset

• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
