Job summary

Nordex Canada is seeking a Logistics Port Operations Manager to lead port operations, laydown yards, and cargo handling for wind turbine components across North America. You will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient receipt, storage, and release while coordinating with port authorities, operators, and project stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years in port logistics with leadership experience, cross-functional collaboration, strong problem-solving, and travel up to 50% across Canada/US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related field required.
• 5+ years in port operations, maritime logistics, project cargo logistics, or renewable energy logistics.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams, contractors, or multi-site operations.
• Experience with vessel discharge, storage facilities, inventory systems, and transportation interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations, cargo handling, and supply chain principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement Nordex Canada's port operations strategy across North America.
• Oversee vessel discharge, cargo handling, storage yards, and inventory operations.
• Ensure safe receipt, storage, tracking, and release of wind turbine components.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures, work instructions, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, efficiency, and cost.
