Job summary

Canada’s Drug Agency (CDA-AMC) in Ottawa or Toronto is seeking a Project Manager to join the PMO, ensuring projects are delivered on time, in scope, and within budget. You will drive continuous improvement, reporting excellence, and alignment across the organization.

The role includes developing training on project management best practices, documenting product processes, and partnering across teams to advance PMO standards. This position embraces hybrid work with 2+ days onsite.

Qualifications

• PMP certification required and project leadership experience.
• Postsecondary education in business or related field; formal PM training preferred.
• Advanced MS Office skills including SharePoint; experience with PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Promote PMBOK-based practices and build internal community of practice.
• Assess end-to-end product life cycle processes to identify gaps and risks.
• Develop and maintain PMO tools and templates (charters, schedules, budgets).
• Document and maintain core product processes with detailed maps and requirements.
• Lead change management plans for updates to PM policies and processes.
• Manage budgeting, scheduling, risk, and cross-functional coordination on complex projects.
• Track KPIs and support PMO dashboards and portfolio reporting.
• Strengthen resource planning using data-driven approaches and AI tools.
• Administer Birdview’s Enterprise Project Management software.
• Support performance measurement, including KPIs, for timely decisions.
• Lead continuous improvement and training adoption.
• Analyze product performance through key metrics and trends.
• Upscale project budgets to ensure scope, time, cost parameters.
• Collaborate with project owners for successful execution.
• Provide ad hoc project support as needed.
