Correctional Service Canada is seeking a qualified Plumber for the Donnacona Institution to perform preventive and corrective maintenance of plumbing systems, potable water distribution, drainage, heating and fire protection.
You will install and modify piping, troubleshoot, and ensure compliance with codes and safety, while supporting training of inmates and handling workshop logistics. Travel to locations within the cluster may be required.

Salary
From $35.57 to $38.70 per hour, in addition to annual allowances such as a $2,140 Correctional Service Specific Duty Allowance (CSSDA) and an Inmate Training Differential.

Duties
The facilities management and technical services team, composed of employees from various trades, is responsible for the maintenance, repair and replacement of physical assets, systems and related equipment, including roads, land, buildings and associated infrastructure, in approximately 1,850 buildings and across more than 6,200 hectares of land managed by the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) nationwide.
