Straightline Motor Group in Medicine Hat, Alberta is seeking a Platform Parts Manager to oversee the parts departments for Kia Medicine Hat and Volkswagen Medicine Hat. This hands-on leadership role focuses on efficient operations, accurate inventory, records, and strong customer service.

You'll lead day-to-day operations, manage inventory, supplier relations, and support service technicians, ensuring consistent processes across both brands.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of both dealership parts departments.
• Maintain organized, clean, and efficient parts department operations.
• Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records, paperwork, and parts documentation.
• Handle parts returns, warranties, and core returns as required.
• Provide excellent customer service to retail and wholesale customers.
• Develop and maintain wholesale customer relationships and sales.
• Assist service technicians with parts identification, sourcing, and availability.
• Coordinate parts requirements to support the service departments and minimize downtime.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure appropriate stock availability.
• Work with suppliers and manufacturers to source parts and resolve issues.
• Ensure consistent parts department processes and procedures across both brands.

Salary Range $72,000-$110,000 annually

Straightline Kia Medicine Hat and Volkswagen Medicine Hat are looking for an organized, motivated, and customer-focused Platform Parts Manager to oversee and manage the parts departments for both dealerships.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for maintaining efficient parts department operations, ensuring accurate inventory and record keeping, providing excellent customer service, and supporting both our customers and service technicians.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes pride in keeping things organized, and can successfully balance multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of service.
