Job summary

lululemon Athletica is seeking a Platform Engineer to design and build internal developer platforms and core infrastructure. You will engineer Kubernetes platforms, create self-service capabilities, and implement observability across pipelines and deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4–8 years of experience designing platform solutions and scalable distributed systems.
• Experience with self-service platforms and developer-focused interfaces.
• Experience engineering Kubernetes platforms for production workloads.
• Proven ability to design cloud infrastructure abstractions for app teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and build internal developer platforms and core infrastructure.
• Engineer Kubernetes platforms, cluster architecture, and service mesh.
• Build CI/CD tooling and delivery pipelines to standardize workflows.
• Create self-service platforms, APIs, and templates for rapid provisioning.
• Develop observability platforms and monitoring dashboards; manage incidents.
