The Enterprise Automation team identifies and delivers organizational and persona-based opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and employee experience through automation, agentic automation, and AI. We partner with business and technology teams across lululemon to design, build, and scale intelligent solutions using various agentic automation and emerging AI technologies, while establishing the governance, standards, and platforms that enable automation and AI to be adopted securely, responsibly, and at enterprise scale.
As a Platform Engineer, you will design and build internal developer platforms and core infrastructure independently that enable engineering velocity and operational excellence. You will engineer Kubernetes platforms and container orchestration solutions, build CI/CD tooling and delivery pipelines, and create self-service capabilities that allow application teams to provision infrastructure and deploy services safely and efficiently. You will build and deploy observability platforms including logging systems, metrics collection, distributed tracing, and monitoring dashboards, conduct infrastructure validation and disaster recovery testing, and respond to platform incidents. You will collaborate with application engineering teams to understand requirements, make platform design decisions within established architecture, and mentor junior engineers on platform engineering practices.
select responsibilities include:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
4-8 years of experience designing platform solutions, implementing infrastructure as code, and building scalable distributed systems, or equivalent
Proven experience designing and implementing complex platform solutions with self-service capabilities; track record of leading design discussions on platform automation approaches presenting trade-offs
Experience engineering Kubernetes platforms and container orchestration solutions for production workloads; demonstrated ability to design cloud infrastructure abstractions enabling application teams to deploy without deep infrastructure knowledge
Experience creating self-service platforms including APIs, templates, and portals allowing teams to provision and deploy safely; familiarity with designing platform interfaces focused on developer usability and productivity
Own the lifecycle, administration, and operational support of enterprise AI and agentic automation platforms, including Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, , ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, and other emerging AI technologies
Design and manage secure platform access controls, including RBAC, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD groups, user provisioning, license assignment, entitlement management, and automated onboarding/offboarding processes.
Build and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting AI and automation solutions, including virtual machines, platform environments, networking, deployment pipelines, environment management, and infrastructure automation across development, test, and production environments.
Implement and support enterprise security and secrets management capabilities, including HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault, certificate management, credential rotation, secure integrations, and compliance with organizational security standards

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this positionis from $112,200 – 147,200 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
