Job summary

Diligent is seeking a Software Engineer for its Platform AI Service in Vancouver, BC. You will design, build, and operate core AWS serverless services that power AI-driven capabilities across Diligent’s product suite, turning AI research into production-ready solutions.

You’ll own services end-to-end from architecture to deployment and monitoring, collaborating with AI researchers and product teams. You’ll work to deliver secure, scalable systems, applying AI tools responsibly to accelerate

Qualifications

• Professional software engineering experience building web applications in an agile environment.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure as code.
• Backend: RESTful APIs, Node.js/TypeScript or Python, Git, SQL databases.
• Frontend: React or Angular experience.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate development with responsible validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable, fault-tolerant AWS serverless solutions.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to translate AI capabilities into production services.
• Build and maintain pipelines to deploy, monitor, and manage AI services at scale.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring quality and ethics.
• Engage in architecture discussions and assist product design with customer-focused problems.
• Work in an agile environment, collaborating to optimize team productivity and delivery metrics.
