Job summary

CHEP is seeking a front-line supervisor to lead production on the plant floor in a safety‑driven environment. You will mentor staff, drive safety initiatives, and coordinate maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operations.

You will also manage costs, improve quality and yield, and partner with HR to address performance and attendance while guiding teams to meet corporate safety and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma required.
• 2–5 years of front-line supervisory experience in production, manufacturing, logistics or customer service.
• Experience with formal safety programs is required.
• CHEP experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership by mentoring, coaching, and guiding employees.
• Lead and enhance safety performance on shift and foster a proactive safety culture.
• Manage shift maintenance activities and coordinate with maintenance team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor and manage plant operational costs and yield with Plant Manager.
• Address performance and attendance matters in collaboration with HR.
