Job summary

CPM Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Plant Manufacturing Lead to provide leadership and support to the segment manufacturing team. You will manage personnel, ensure timely work release, and maintain a safe, efficient production flow within a continuous improvement culture.

You will report on metrics such as scrap, output, on-time delivery, and shipments. The role emphasizes adherence to quality and safety standards, 5S practices, and collaboration with maintenance to minimize downtime while

Qualifications

• Experience managing manufacturing operations across shifts.
• Strong lean manufacturing experience and 5S practices.
• Ability to lead by example and maintain safety standards.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with critical deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of manufacturing.
• Drives lean manufacturing.
• Oversees operations resources across all shifts.
• Ensures quality and safety standards are maintained.
• Develops and maintains defined manufacturing procedures.
• Ensures department adheres to 5S practices.
• Monitors safety protocols and ensures a safe team.
• Coordinates with maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Ensures smooth introduction of new products and processes.
• Understands Bills of Materials and routing for the product line.
• Monitors time and attendance and enforces company policies.
• Provides product expertise to the team and responds to operator queries.
• Drives continuous improvement in partnership with the team.
• Partners with HR to maintain staffing levels.
• Drives cost-saving initiatives for the facility.
