More Than Just Feed Inc in Red Deer, Alberta, is seeking a Plant Production Operator to ensure timely manufacture of animal feed and ingredients. This role involves shift work and manual labor in indoor and outdoor settings, with training provided.

Feed mill production experience is an asset but not required; forklift and WHMIS are assets but not required. You will work with a collaborative team dedicated to quality and customer service.

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the Plant Production Operator is responsible to ensure the timely manufacture of animal feed and ingredients. This role involves shift work and manual labor in indoor and outdoor settings (training provided). Feed mill production experience is considered an asset but is not required. We seek people who will bring a collaborative approach, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and focus on quality to work with them every day.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

• Accurate manufacturing, packaging, and labeling of feed; monitoring of automated mill software
• Adhere to production and delivery schedules
• Inspection, sampling, and receiving of inbound bulk, bagged, and toted ingredients
• Loadout of product onto outbound bulk/bag trucks
• Weighing of inbound/outbound trucks
• Complete preventative maintenance on equipment as directed; assist in repair and maintenance projects as required
• Proactively maintain facility cleanliness

• Other duties as assigned
