Hela Spice Canada Inc. is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead manufacturing operations in Ontario. The role requires hands-on leadership to drive performance, safety, and continuous improvement while meeting production targets and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will oversee production planning, maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration, building a high-performing team and fostering a culture of accountability on the shop floor.

Qualifikationen

• College diploma in Manufacturing or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven Plant Manager experience in food/pharma manufacturing.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive manufacturing experience.
• Experience managing plant supervisors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, planning, maintenance and CI.
• GMP, food safety or pharmaceutical quality standards knowledge.
• Proven ability to improve productivity, efficiency and employee performance.
• Strong knowledge of Ontario health and safety requirements.
• Experience managing budgets, labour costs and capital projects.
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office.

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily plant operations including production, batching, packaging, maintenance, logistics and scheduling.
• Ensure production targets, customer commitments and quality standards are met.
• Establish and monitor KPIs: labour efficiency, downtime, output, waste, equipment utilization.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Coordinate production planning and resource allocation across departments.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity.
