Cascades is seeking a Plant Manager in Calgary to lead operations, drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the plant. You will collaborate with leadership to ensure profitability, develop strategies, and manage a team in a unionized environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a relevant field and 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, with LEAN expertise and fluency in data tools like PowerBI. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, RCA, CI) is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office, SAP, PowerBI and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, plant-wide leadership to meet financial and operational goals.
• Oversee safety programs and ensure compliance with responsibilities.
• Lead investigations and corrective actions to prevent hazards.
• Develop strategies to support profitability and continuous improvement.
• Foster an employee-oriented culture emphasizing safety, quality, and performance.
• Lead a team of Supervisory and Management staff and coordinate with union relations.
