Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its St-Laurent plant. You will oversee a unionized maintenance workforce and lead initiatives to improve reliability, efficiency, and safety while coordinating preventive and predictive maintenance activities.

You will manage daily maintenance operations, support capital projects, and mentor Maintenance Technicians to enhance plant performance and adherence to quality and food-safety standards. Bilingual communication is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience supervising maintenance teams in a unionized environment.
• Experience with CMMS (Guide TI is an asset) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Fluent French and English for cross-province collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day maintenance operations to maximize reliability of production equipment.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
• Lead, coach and develop the maintenance team including Maintenance Technical Agents and Storekeepers.
• Facilitate daily performance reviews and promote continuous improvement and problem-solving.
