Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Canada (Marcel-Laurin Plant 1) seeks a Maintenance Planner to oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities. You will drive planning, scheduling and optimization of maintenance work across the plant.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in a maintenance environment.
• Strong Excel skills and general computer proficiency.
• Good written and spoken French.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance work.
• Coordinate work with external contractors.
• Prepare work for summer and winter plant shutdowns.
• Monitor the backlog of planned work.
• Compile performance indicators and prepare reports.
• Coordinate planning meetings with multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate machine shutdowns with the appropriate departments.
• Represent the maintenance department in meetings related to upcoming maintenance activities.

How to thrive in this role?

• College diploma in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, logistics, planning, or a related field;
• 5-8 years of experience in a maintenance environment;
• Strong Excel skills and general computer proficiency;
• Asset: Knowledge of Maximo (CMMS);
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and take initiative to improve processes.
