Job summary

Bombardier in Dorval, QC is seeking a Reliability/Maintenance Analyst to analyze maintenance data, identify trends and root causes, and propose sustainable solutions. You will apply RCM concepts and support major incidents with technical investigations.

Collaborating with production, engineering and supply teams, you will ensure data quality, develop analyses and reports, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance systems. Bilingual French/English required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5+ years in an industrial environment.
  • Minimum 5 years in an industrial setting (aerospace, manufacturing, energy).
  • Bilingual French/English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience with continuous improvement projects.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and industrial regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and root causes.
  • Assess relevance of maintenance tasks (RCM).
  • Support teams during major incidents and investigations.
  • Ensure data quality and develop analyses and reports.
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, and supply to integrate reliability into design and planning.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement to boost maintenance efficiency.
  • Train teams on preventive and predictive maintenance tools.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs: MTBF, MTTR, availability.

What are your contributions to the team?

As part of this role, you will be expected to:

  • Analyze maintenance data: Identify trends and root causes of failures in order to propose sustainable solutions.
  • Assess the relevance of maintenance tasks (Reliability-Centered Maintenance - RCM).
  • Support teams during major incidents & participate in technical investigations.
  • Ensure data quality (history, failure coding) & develop analyses and reports.
  • Ensure cross-department coordination: Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply teams to integrate reliability into design and planning.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to increase the efficiency and performance of maintenance systems.
  • Train and raise awareness: Support teams in the use of preventive and predictive maintenance tools and techniques.
  • Develop & monitor key performance indicators (KPIs): MTBF, MTTR, availability rate, etc.
How to thrive in this role?

As the ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, combined with a minimum of five years of experience in an industrial environment.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an industrial setting (aerospace, manufacturing, energy, or equivalent).
  • Bilingual (French/English), both spoken and written.
  • Prior involvement in continuous improvement projects.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and industrial regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, including rigorous root cause identification.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and project management skills, with a strong service mindset.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems.
  • Good knowledge of reliability and industrial maintenance concepts.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Experience with various modules of a CMMS (Maximo preferred).
