Job summary

Humber Polytechnic seeks a Placement Advisor for the FSCS. The role connects field opportunities for students, liaises with internship hosts and instructors, and manages placement information. It also covers Work-Integrated Learning admin and student support in preparing for field experience.

The candidate has at least two years in HR/recruitment or related areas, and strong communication, planning and organizational skills to thrive in a dynamic, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in HR, counselling, recruitment or employment services.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills under pressure.
• Ability to guide students, research opportunities and plan events.

Responsibilities

• Connect field experience opportunities for students and hosts.
• Liaise with internship hosts, instructors and students.
• Maintain a placement information database and resources.
• Support Work-Integrated Learning administrative tasks and events.
