Job summary

Humber Polytechnic in Ontario is seeking a Work Integrated Learning Officer to coordinate on-campus and off-campus opportunities within the Faculty of Health & Life Sciences. The role drives experiential learning aligned to curricular requirements and supports students across Cardiovascular Technology, Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography, Medical Diagnostic Sonography and Respiratory Therapy.

The position is full-time, 40 hours weekly, at North Campus, salary range $38.09–$44.04 per hour, payband H.

Qualifications

Experience in database management.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal & written skills.
Excellent organization & project management skills.
Excellent presentation and public speaking skills and ability to use various technologies.
Computer skills including database management, Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, and Internet applications.
Excellent listening, networking and sensitivity skills, and ability to connect and communicate with people are essential.
Ability to read, interpret and report on statistical data.
Excellent administrative and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, promote, coordinate and maintain on-campus and off-campus Work Integrated Learning opportunities.
Ensure experiential learning meets program curricular requirements and supports learners.
Collaborate with FHLS Program Coordinators, Faculty and others involved in delivery and monitoring of WIL.
Support learners to have meaningful work-integrated learning experiences in designated programs.
