Job summary

Right Choice Energy Services Inc. (RCESI) in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, is seeking a Journeyperson Pipefitter to join our team. Reporting to the Shop or Site Supervisor, you will support fabrication and field activities in a safety-focused environment.

You must hold a Journeyperson Pipefitter certification, be willing to travel across Southern Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba, and complete a pre-employment drug test. Overtime, weekends, and mentoring apprentices are expected.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Pipefitter certification is required.
• Willing to travel across Southern Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba.
• Able to lift over 20 lbs and demonstrate worksite mobility.
• Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test and related certifications.
• Safety-focused with ability to mentor apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Reporting fit for duty at the beginning of each shift.
• Reading and interpreting spool drawings and fabrication requirements.
• Supporting piping fabrication and installation activities.
• Completing spool installations, torquing and bolt-up activities.
• Operating pipe threading equipment as required.
• Performing hydrostatic testing and required documentation.
• Mentoring and supporting apprentices.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Right Choice Energy Services Inc. (RCESI) is accepting applications for a Journeyperson Pipefitter to join our team in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Shop and/or Site Supervisor(s), you will support fabrication and construction activities in shop and field environments. This is an opportunity for an experienced Journeyperson Pipefitter to contribute their skills in a safety-focused team environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Reporting fit for duty at the beginning of each shift
• Applying applicable provincial and federal construction standards
• Reading and interpreting spool drawings and fabrication requirements
• Supporting piping fabrication and installation activities
• Completing spool installations, torquing, and bolt-up activities
• Operating pipe threading equipment as required
• Performing hydrostatic testing and required documentation
• Mentoring and supporting apprentices
• Performing other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will:

• Be safety conscious and committed to safe work practices
• Hold a Journeyperson Pipefitter certification
• Be capable of lifting over 20 lbs. and demonstrating worksite mobility
• Hold, or be willing to obtain, First Aid and H2S Alive certifications
• Have experience with, or willingness to learn, civil, structural, and piping activities
• Be willing to work overtime, weekends, and travel throughout Southern Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba
• Hold a valid driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract

This is a safety-sensitive position. Successful candidates must complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test. Audiometric and lung function testing will also be completed upon hire in accordance with provincial regulations.
