Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting a Pipefitter Apprentice to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Horizon site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 Fall Turnaround. Day and night shifts are available, with flights provided from Edmonton and Calgary.

Camp accommodations are provided, and the rotation is 6 days on, 1 day off with overtime. The role requires Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal, a valid apprenticeship, a Driver's Abstract, and CSTS 09 or CSO.

Qualifications

• Requires journeyperson certification or Red Seal and valid apprenticeship.
• Must have CSTS 09 or CSO, Confined Space ESC, Fall Protection ESC, AWP ESC, Firewatch.
• Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test and Mask fit are required.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems used in heating, cooling, and processing.
• Measure, cut, thread, groove, and bend pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment to check for leaks and troubleshoot fittings.

Jardeg is recruiting pipefitter apprentice to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Horizon site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 Fall Turnaround. Day and night shifts are available. Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary. The shift rotation is 6 days on, 1 day off during the turnaround with overtime. Camp accommodation and charter flights (from Calgary or Edmonton) are provided by the company.

Travel allowance available for qualified applicants.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
