Job summary

Right Choice Energy Services Inc. (RCESI) is seeking a Picker Truck Operator based in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. You will report to the Shop or Site Supervisor and support fabrication, construction and field activities with a hands-on, team-focused approach.

The role requires 2+ years of picker truck experience, safety-consciousness, and a willingness to travel within Southern Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba. A valid 5G‑endorsed license and the ability to lift over 40 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of picker truck operating experience.
• Safety conscious and able to work safely.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract and 5G endorsement.
• Willingness to travel to Southern Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba.
• Physically capable of lifting over 40 lbs and staying mobile on worksites.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Report fit for duty at the beginning of each shift.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and logbooks as equipment is used.
• Perform daily maintenance and report concerns to the Supervisor.
• Keep tools and equipment clean, organized and maintained.
• Operate equipment in compliance with safety policies and client/site rules.
• Rig materials for lifting and assist with piping installations and signaling lifting equipment.
• Load and unload equipment with proper securing per regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate activities with other workers on active worksites.
• Interpret drawings and assist with structural and piping installations.
• Utilize torqueing equipment and perform measurements, cutting, threading, assembling and testing of piping systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Right Choice Energy Services Inc. (RCESI) is currently accepting applications for a Picker Truck Operator to join our growing team based in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Shop and/or Site Supervisor(s), you will play an important role in supporting fabrication and construction activities in both our shop and field environments. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced equipment operator with oil and gas facility experience who enjoys hands‑on work and working in a team‑focused environment.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Reporting fit for duty at the beginning of each shift
• Completing daily equipment inspections and required logbooks as equipment is utilized
• Performing required daily maintenance and reporting equipment concerns to the Supervisor for follow-up
• Ensuring tools and equipment are kept clean, organized, and properly maintained
• Operating equipment in compliance with RCESI safety policies and procedures, as well as client and site‑specific requirements
• Rigging materials for lifting and installations and competently signaling lifting equipment
• Loading and unloading equipment from vehicles and trailers while ensuring proper securement in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Coordinating activities with other workers on active worksites
• Understanding client requirements, interpreting drawings, and assisting with structural and piping installations
• Utilizing torqueing equipment and performing measuring, cutting, threading, assembling, installing, and testing of piping systems
• Performing other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will be:

• Safety conscious and meet all safety requirements
• Have minimum 2+ years of picker truck operating experience
• Be able to demonstrate competency and confidence operating equipment safely
• Have experience with, or a willingness to learn, multidisciplinary activities including civil, structural, and piping work
• Be physically capable of performing the demands of the position, including lifting over 40lbs and demonstrating worksite mobility
• Be willing to work overtime and weekends when required
• Be willing to travel throughout Southern Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba
• Hold a valid driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract and a 5G endorsement

As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must successfully complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test. In addition, audiometric and lung function testing will be scheduled by the Health & Safety Coordinator upon hire in accordance with applicable provincial regulations.
