Job summary

Air Liquide Canada in Sudbury is hiring a Pick-up & Delivery Driver / Shipper Receiver. The role focuses on safe, efficient gas deliveries, loading cylinders, planning routes, and returning empties.

You will operate commercial vehicles, perform pre-trip inspections, maintain positive customer relationships, and follow DOT regulations and our safety procedures. Starting wage is $30.31 per hour for day shifts with no weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Valid Class 3 or DZ driver's license with a clean driving record and CVOR; DA and CVOR must be current.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles, preferably in pickup/delivery.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and provincial HOS rules.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform basic vehicle checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles (flatbeds, cylinder trucks) safely and in compliance with policy and laws.
• Load/unload cylinders and cryogenic tanks at customer sites and facilities.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and address delivery inquiries professionally.
• Follow safety protocols for hazardous materials and use PPE as required.
