Job summary

Air Liquide Canada seeks a delivery driver in Winnipeg to provide safe, prompt cylinder gas deliveries and pickups, while promoting safety and quality objectives. You will load and unload, plan routes, and maintain vehicle condition.

Applicants must have a valid Class 3 license with air brakes, 2+ years in delivery, strong customer service, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. TDG certification and forklift experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 license with air brakes and a clean driver's abstract.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the delivery industry.
• Customer service experience.
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up cylinder gases and welding supplies in a safe, courteous manner.
• Load/unload trucks with team members and ensure proper loading per regulations.
• Plan routes, pick up empties, and offload goods at sites as dispatched.

Ultra-safe work environment

The main objective and purpose of this position consist in providing safe, efficient, prompt, and courteous pick-up and delivery service for gases, while promoting ALC’s quality and safety objectives.

• Provides prompt and courteous delivery of cylinder gases and/or welding supplies.
• Picks up empty cylinders as required.
• Loads and unloads trucks with other team members and ensures trucks are loaded efficiently and in accordance with regulations.
• Pick your own load of cylinders, plan out your day based on items dispatched for you, drive to required sites, pick up empties then offload trucks upon return.
• Ensures that maintenance and general appearance of the truck and all equipment used in the performance of his/her duties are properly maintained.
