Job summary

Air Liquide Canada is seeking a delivery professional to provide safe, efficient cylinder gas and welding supplies deliveries. You will pick up empties, load and unload trucks, and plan daily routes with teammates to ensure timely service while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a valid class 3 license with air brakes, 2+ years in delivery, customer service experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. TDG and forklift certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid class 3 license with air Brakes with a clean driver's abstract.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in the delivery industry.
• Customer service experience.
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, prompt, and courteous pick-up and delivery service for gases and welding supplies.
• Pick up empty cylinders and load/unload trucks with team members.
• Ensure trucks and equipment are well maintained and loaded according to regulations.
• Plan daily routes based on items dispatched and drive to required sites.

The main objective and purpose of this position consist in providing safe, efficient, prompt, and courteous pick-up and delivery service for gases, while promoting ALC's quality and safety objectives. Provides prompt and courteous delivery of cylinder gases and/or welding supplies. Picks up empty cylinders as required. Loads and unloads trucks with other team members and ensures trucks are loaded efficiently and in accordance with regulations. Pick your own load of cylinders, plan out your day based on items dispatched for you, drive to required sites, pick up empties then offload trucks upon return. Ensures that maintenance and general appearance of the truck and all equipment used in the performance of his/her duties are properly maintained.
