Job summary

Air Liquide Canada in Saskatoon is hiring a Pick Up and Delivery Driver to provide safe, efficient, prompt delivery of cylinder gases and related materials. The role involves loading/unloading, route planning, and ensuring vehicle readiness while upholding safety standards.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in the delivery industry.
• Customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up cylinder gases and related materials safely and promptly.
• Load and unload trucks with team members, ensuring efficient and compliant loading.
• Plan daily routes based on dispatch and pick up empties.
• Maintain the truck and equipment in good condition and reporting issues.
• Provide courteous service aligned with safety objectives.

The main objective and purpose of this position consist in providing safe, efficient, prompt, and courteous pick-up and delivery service for gases, while promoting ALC’s quality and safety objectives.

• Provides prompt and courteous delivery of cylinder gases and/or welding supplies.
• Picks up empty cylinders as required.
• Loads and unloads trucks with other team members and ensures trucks are loaded efficiently and in accordance with regulations.
• Pick your own load of cylinders, plan out your day based on items dispatched for you, drive to required sites, pick up empties then offload trucks upon return.
• Ensures that maintenance and general appearance of the truck and all equipment used in the performance of his/her duties are properly maintained.

Required Qualifications

• Valid class 3 license with air Brakes with a clean driver's abstract
• A minimum of 2 years experience in the delivery industry
• Customer service experience
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift Certification
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification
