Job summary

Air Liquide Canada is seeking a delivery driver to provide safe, efficient pickup and delivery of cylinder gases and welding supplies in Winnipeg. You will load/unload trucks, plan daily routes, and ensure equipment is well maintained.

A Class 3 license with air brakes and customer service experience are required, with TDG and forklift certifications preferred. We offer a day shift with competitive base pay plus bonus, a strong pension plan, and a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 license with air brakes and a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the delivery industry.
• Customer service experience.
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient pickup and delivery of cylinder gases and welding supplies.
• Load and unload trucks with team members and ensure proper loading.
• Inspect and maintain trucks and equipment for safety and reliability.
• Plan daily routes, pick up empties, and deliver to required sites.

The main objective and purpose of this position consist in providing safe, efficient, prompt, and courteous pick-up and delivery service for gases, while promoting ALC's quality and safety objectives. Provides prompt and courteous delivery of cylinder gases and/or welding supplies. Picks up empty cylinders as required. Loads and unloads trucks with other team members and ensures trucks are loaded efficiently and in accordance with regulations. Pick your own load of cylinders, plan out your day based on items dispatched for you, drive to required sites, pick up empties then offload trucks upon return. Ensures that maintenance and general appearance of the truck and all equipment used in the performance of his/her duties are properly maintained.
