A regional health authority in Canada is seeking a Physiotherapist for their Pain Program. The role involves assessing and implementing treatment plans for patients with chronic pain, along with patient education and community resource referral. Candidates should have a relevant physiotherapy degree, current licensure, and two years of experience in chronic pain management. Excellent communication skills and teamwork are essential in this position, which prioritizes patient and staff safety.

Reporting to the Manager with professional and clinical support from the Manager, Pain Program, and working without general supervision within an inter-professional, chronic disease management framework, the Physiotherapist-Pain Program, with the Pain Program inter-disciplinary team, assesses, plans, implements plans and evaluates plans for patients/clients with chronic pain. Responsible for planning and implementing patient education materials and sessions, referral to community resources, and setting up ongoing self-management and rehabilitation plans for patients/clients.
Graduation from a recognized university program in Physiotherapy. Current licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as a Physiotherapist. Eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). Two (2) years' recent, related experience in tertiary level care chronic pain management/rehabilitation or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
