Job summary

Halton Healthcare is seeking a physiotherapist to support acute, medical-surgical and rehabilitation units across multiple sites in Oakville, Milton and Georgetown. The role requires collaboration with a broad interprofessional team to optimize patient mobility and function.

The ideal candidate holds a BSc PT or MSc PT, is licensed with the College of Physiotherapy, and has at least one year of acute hospital experience. This is a temporary part-time position with 7.5-hour days, Monday to Friday.

Job Description

The physiotherapist will work across acute, medical-surgical and rehab units. The physiotherapist will work closely with an interprofessional team consisting of occupational therapists, OTA/PTA's, discharge planners etc.

• B.Sc.PT or MSc PT
• Licensed with the College of Physiotherapy
• Minimum of one year experience working in an acute hospital setting
• Demonstrated experience working with acute, surgical and rehab patients
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
• Must be flexible and show an ability to work independently and/or collaboratively with all team members
• Physically able to manage a moderately heavy job
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Satisfactory attendance and employment record

Additional Information

Hours: Monday to Friday; 7.5 hour day shifts (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)

Salary: $40.911 to $57.695 per hour
